Rain forecast this week

There is a good chance of rainfall this week for Ireland so this should help to douse the gorse fires. But until then there will still be sunny conditions in the Northern half of Ireland with more rain further South. Temperatures will be in the range 13 to 18c for the medium term.

Cooler and Unsettled

The coming few weeks are promising a lot cooler weather for Ireland after a really warm start to April 2011.

There will be some warm weather on Friday and Saturday April 8th and April 9th.

Then things cool down on Sunday April 10th with cloud moving into the West off the Atlantic and temperatures of only 10 to 14c.

Next week will continue the cool and unsettled theme with rain in the West and North on most days.
